Ultrasound Clerical Tech Assistant

Intermountain Medical Imaging, a locally owned outpatient imaging center, has an immediate opening for a full time (Monday-Friday 7:30 am – 4 pm) Ultrasound Clerical Tech Assistant position at their Meridian location.

  • A minimum of 2 years previous medical background and understanding of medical terminology required.
  • Experience in the radiology field a definite plus.
  • Experience with multiple healthcare software applications a plus.

This position is an imaging assistant that helps the ultrasound technologists by providing clerical support for the department. There is a moderate amount of direct patient interaction. Some of the US CTA duties include:

  • Responsible for printing paperwork for procedures, printing schedules for the day
  • Requesting previous imaging from other facilities
  • Serves as a link between radiologists, other departments and clinics
  • Assist with changing patients for the exam and transporting pts to other depts
  • Helps clean and stock exam rooms between patients
  • Performs other related functions as assigned

Position requires the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strengths must include a strong understanding of medical terminology, computer skills and phone etiquette skills with the ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of accuracy and excellent customer service. Applicants should possess a positive, professional attitude with excellent communications skills.

Radiology Technologist Assistant (FT)

Locally owned outpatient medical imaging center has an opening for a full-time “float” MRI Tech. Assistant.  Applicant should be able to work a variety of shifts (day shift, evening shift and weekends) covering all IMI out-patient facilities including Boise, Meridian, Eagle & Nampa.

  • A minimum of 2 years previous medical background required.
  • Experience in the radiology field a definite plus!

Position requires the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strengths must include strong customer service, phone etiquette skills, and the ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of accuracy. MRI Technologist

Intermountain Medical Imaging is currently hiring full time MRI Technologists for multiple shifts, both hospital based and outpatient based.

  • Applicants must be ARRT board certification in Radiography.
  • MR board certification a plus!
